Hello everybody!
Excuse my english, I'm french.
This iQuestion is about a problem i had for a long time, and i will answer it by myself, because i've found the solution.
So, How can i install DraftSight on Ubuntu 64bits or an other linux distribution?
And, above all, how can i keep DraftSight after updates without dependencies problem?
Yes, it's easy to force architecture during installation, and use DraftSight just after... for a moment.
But, quickly, a problem appears: It's impossible to update Ubuntu, because the update manager says "you have some broken dependencies" or something like that.
In this case, the only solution to keep updates is to remove DraftSight or to do a partial update and solve the broken dependencies by "sudo apt-get -f install"... But it removes:
- DraftSight
- the libdirectfb-extra package
So i will answer with something that works for me with:
- DraftSight.deb package, beta V1R3.2
- Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 64bits
