When I try to open a drawing in draft sight there is nothing or just a small corner of the image appearing in the preview window unless it was saved in Auto Cad LT then the whole image is shown

I always use the zoom extent before saving as I did in Auto Cad LT but nothing shows up 

is there a special way to save the drawing or a setting to be turned on so the whole image shows in the preview window
