I know this sounds really stupid...it's been years since I've used AutoCAD, and I'm having to re-learn everything.  I'm an expert Sketchup user, and know how to enter fractions when drawing, but this doesn't seem to work with DraftSight.  

I cannot find the answer to this in any of the tutorials...they all use whole numbers.  Can you guys update the tutorials to let new users know how to do this?  Even Google searches haven't provided any help on this.  

Meanwhile, how the heck do I enter fractions when drawing a line or a rectangle??

When I type 1-3/4, it only makes a segment that's 1" long.  It seems to ignore everything after the dash.  I can type decimals and get it right, but fractions simply don't work.  

(I'm on the Mac version...is this a bug?)
