Good day all:
When I open DrafSight the default drawing window is gray. When I attempt to draw on it I cannot see the cursor or the entities that I create, I'm assuming that they are being drawn in gray as well. I do know that they are there as the grid cordinates indicate the positions of points. When I open an existing drawing including the samples that download with DraftSight the window is gray and appears to be blank although I believe the entities are there but likely just in gray as well. I've been using DraftSight for some time now without an issue but suddenly this week when tried to use it this issue cropped up. I have uninstalled and re-downloaded the product to no avail. I've run a device driver check and according to Windows 10 I have the "best driver for this device installed".
Any thoughts?
9/20/2017: Okay, made some headway on this, seems to be a compatiability issue at the docking station level. When I unplug the ThinkPad from the dock and open DS it works perfectly. If I plug the computer back into the dock with DS running DS crashes. When I open DS with the laptop plugged into the docking station it opens but with the all gray drawing area noted above. I've updated the docking station driver but still nothing.
Has any one run across a similar issue and if so how did you resolve it?
