Hello,

We use DraftSight 2017 SP1 in our environment. I have noticed on several occasions that a certain drawing will give a "needs to be recovered" message, you choose OK and then it will just open a blank drawing. This same dwg will render fine on other pc's. The pc that has issues with the particular drawing can still open other drawings...

What I've tried so far:

Removed users DraftSight profile folders

Removed users Dessault profile folders

Cleaned out cache

Cleaned out temp

Cleaned out recent places

uninstalled and reinstall Draftsight.

All the font files are in the programs folder

Another thing to note- as an admin I can get the drawing to render fine if I do a "run as" when opening it but it will usually ask me to substitute a shx file first.

Why is this only happening on certain installs and only certain drawings? It points to a user profile issue yet it isn't resolved if you blow away the draftsight files in the profile.

Any ideas?
