When installing DraftSight onto one of 15 windows 8 PC's I receive the 1320 error.
I have tried the following to resolve it with no success:
- Advanced Computer User Solution (manual update):
- Start your computer and log on as an administrator.
- Click the Start button then select All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and then click System Restore.
- In the new window, select "Restore my computer to an earlier time" option and then click Next.
- Select the most recent system restore point from the "On this list, click a restore point" list, and then click Next.
- Click Next on the confirmation window.
- Restarts the computer when the restoration is finished.
- Novice Computer User Solution (completely automated):
- Download (Error 1320 Draftsight) repair utility.
- Install program and click Scan button.
- Click the Fix Errors button when scan is completed.
- Restart your computer.
- Move the application data shortcut (this would not allow me to move the shortcut)
- On your computer click on your Start button, and then select Computer.
- Go to "C:\\ProgramData"and then locate the "Application Data" shortcut.
- After that click and then drag the "Application Data" shortcut to another location.
- Install the 2D drafting tool.
- After the installation finishes successfully, you will have to move the "Application Data" shortcut to its original location.
I need a solution for this ASAP.
