I'll ask again, Why does DS put a dimension line between extension lines when the text is outside the dimension. I thought I had it, but no, it's random and once the dimension line is in, you can't switch it out. See the image. The 1/2" and 11/16" are both the same style with the same parameters to NOT place the dimension line between the extension lines. Monkeying with the properties does not always works. Anyone...anyone at all have an answer or do I just can this POS software and purchase something better...like AutoCAD, which I used for 30+ years.
