Can I change the settings in order to be able to enter dimensions with the numeric pad in mac OSX (where the decimal separator is a comma ",")?

I need to change this setting but I can't find it. When I enter a dimension, I cannot use the numeric pad of my keyboard in mac OSX, because the point "." is a comma ",".

Any hints?
