I have an issue where the data is invisible in the display model area. The data is there but it's as if the data is black on a black window. That is not the case however.
SYMPTOMS:
Data does not show in the drawing area
The drawing area is black except for the white XY indicator.
Draw a line and create the first point. You can see the white 'rubber band line follow the cursor around. But as soon as you create the second point, the segment between the 1st and 2nd points disappears. The rubber band line is now connected to the second point and the cursor. So everything is working correctly except you cannot see data once you have created it.
This is also the case for loading any existing drawings. You cannot see the data. All drawings load and display fine on other computers.
When you mouse over existing data, each element will display in the fuzzy 'mouseover' state as the cursor passes over it and again become invisible when the cursor moves away.
If you draw a selection window, all SELECTED data is visible in the dotted 'selected' state look. Deselecting the data makes it disappear again.
Also, the 'Sheet' tab displays a black area also with the blue XY triangle showing... but no data
THESE ARE THE FIXED I HAVE ATTEMPTED
* Rebooted
* Installed the latest video driver
* Uninstalled Draftsight, deleted all draftsight related folders and registry entries, reinstalled Draftsight
* changed the color of the cursor and draw window
* made sure layers were not frozen or colored black
* Opened Tools/Options/System Options/Display/Element Colors/ and clicked Reset All
* Imported and activated a profile from an installation on another pc.
