The splash screen shows for a while and then Windows (XP Pro Sp3 & updates) pops up the normal crash window (Draftsight has encountered a problem and needs to close...).

I have included the file that gets sent to Microsoft. 

Draftsight is a great idea - if only you can get it to work.

My system is a Dell Optiplex GX280 with Pentium 4 3Ghz, 2 GB RAM, Radeon X300/X550.

All the other programs I use (AutoCAD LT, Eagle, Office,, Seamonkey, etc) work just fine.
