We have 4 "Windows 7" computers, configured exactly the same here. All have Draftsight and SolidWorks.

Of those 3 run Draftsight fine, no problems what so ever.

But the 4th computer has a problem. The machine freezes for about 2 to 5 minutes while opening. Solid Works runs fine.

Again when I open a drawing & again when closing a drawing and again when closing Draftsight.
