Can we have a poll for users to vote for things we would like to see in future releases or some post here to bring in suggestions/bugs.
Let start. I am on MAC though so I do not know if these issues exist on the other platforms
Drafsight MAC
Fixes:
- Thumbnail preview in Finder
- Dimscale shortcut/alias
- With larger drawing (lot of objects), zoom and panning gets slow
- Trim/Extend without selecting a object to (but give it a ENTER to Trim/Extend it to the first line) acts slow
- Trim/Extend to a object inside a block (not exploded) acts slow
Enhancements:
- Symbol Manager
- Pallets that can be minimized and stacked together (like Google Sketchup (Pro))
- Integrate command line into the status bar, for more screen area. Or as an alternative Heads UP design where you have feedback on the command uses at your mouse tip. And integrate the snap/ortho/grid buttons etc. into the status bar. (there where the model/paper spaces are also located.
- Customizing the default scale list for viewport(s), so you can put in your own values as for examples 1:25 or whatever. But a way that it stays into the default list
- Xref manager to have also .pdf to be referenced and not only .dwg and .jpegs etc. (image files)
- Viewport dialog box instead of command line
- Print dialogbox to be enhanced for choosing options like plot styles (ctb's and what .ctb you would like to use. Also a option to make or modify existing .ctb's
- Start-up dialog box that gives you an option for opening a existing or a new drawing (a template can be selected)
- MAC OSX 10.7 full screen support
- a PAN acceleration key, like SHIFT(or SPACE)+moving your mouse will do pan
- a Rotate+Copy command. Like we have now the option on the right click: Rotate+Reference
