The reversal of black and white in model and paper space has confused me for some time.  I have learnt that to create and print white text, say over a coloured entity, then the text colour needs  to be just below 100% white otherwise it is black in paper space.

My question concerns fill. I want to make a solid fill print black in paper space but would like to see it in model space as white. It seems that back fill appears black in both model and paper space, where as a black line is white in model space and back in paper space.

Any advice gratefully received.
