I have to edit some drawings created in AutoCad & need to change the text height  of some items (not all)

using block edit, I can identify the text then change the height in the properties window. The tag text changes height so it looks like I have achieved the required outcome. Then I close & save the block but the text concerned has not changed height. Checking the process again & the tag height is shown as I changed it, both the value in properties & also just by appearance.

ran error check & nothing identified, opened & closed the file, still the same.

Any suggestions ?
