Hi everyone - I have several questions relating to 2D drawing. I don't know if this is the proper forum for this, but I'll try and ask now. I am a retired person, learning draftsight at home in isolation (cannot walk over and ask someone how to do stuff). I'm doing good, but there are a few things I would like to ask.

I have just done a 2D drawing of a clock. I would like to send out my drawing(s) to have them converted to stl files (for 3D printing). So my questions are:

Should I be sending a model, dimensioned drawings, or both ?

On a 2D drawing (requiring more than one view), is it customary that the model itself be shown with more than one view ?

Does the model contain hidden lines and center lines, or just blank holes, etc ?
