In this project, I utilized several features of Dassault Systèmes' DELMIA to showcase how the automotive industry is leveraging the principles of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 by using digital twins to simulate real-world manufacturing processes.
Industrial robots are programmed to efficiently pick and assemble various components, such as frames and sheet metal components. These robots also perform spot welding and arc welding operations as the car moves along the assembly line.
Furthermore, conveyor systems are integrated into the simulation. These systems play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of components, from small parts to large assemblies, across the assembly line.
This project demonstrates how the principles of Industry 4.0 are applied to enhance efficiency and productivity in the automotive industry.
