Is there an OOTB way to update EIN on Manufacturing Item that already has a Scope Link to a product?

Use Case:

Customer would like to create a new engineering definition by duplication existing one (Product,MBOM,Workplan). The issue is, that the duplicated product doesn’t have EIN. And after the EIN is defined, it needs to be updated in MBOM as well.

Is there a simple OOTB way to do this update on MBOM?

Or is there a BL we could use for this?
