Recently I received a query from a user for simulating a 90deg angular transmission head as attached picture in CATIA V5 3-axis machining process. As far as I know, in CATIA V5, we do not have an option to support this kind of tool. I tried to modify the tooling representation by playing around in the tool holder option. The idea is to use normal milling tool but using an angular holder. I see "Orientation" in details section of Tool Holder definition window but that is just to orient the mounting angle in axial axis.

Is there any way to simulate the tooling behavior of this tool? The user do not have access to NC Machine Builder. The user cannot rotate | manipulate | change the orientation of the machined part once the machining process start, so we cannot propose to the user to create secondary setup.
