Hi !
As I lack experience in the machining field, and more specifically in 5-axis machining, I am currently looking for people who may be able to help me.
I'm using the Pocket NC, an affordable 5-axis desktop machine. The comfortable work envelope is about 75mm cubed. The part I need to machine is about 110 mm long and will need to be split into at least two separate pieces. The reach of the tools is limited, and I believe it's unavoidable to split the part in three. It's an overall tubular part that requires advanced internal and external machining. I'm wondering what are the best strategies in these odd geometries cases.
Thanks for help !
