Is there a universal manikin? (no country, no gender, no percentile)

Hello everyone,

I am working on a project where we measure the body measurements of students and than transfer the measurements to a manikin.

We have set the important anthropometry variables of the manikins (3.Acromial height standing, 4.Acrominon-radial length, 9.Ball of foot length, 10.Biacromail breadth, 32.Crotch height, standing, 56.Knee heigth midpatella, 72.Radial-stylion length, 81.Stature, 91.Trochanterion height, 98.Wrist center of grip length) to “manual” in the anthropometry tool and control them via a Desing Tabel. The measured body measurements of the students are then saved in the Excel table of the Desing Tab. The goal is to have a digital twin of the measured student in the 3DX.

The problem is that I have to set the country, gender and percentile of the manikin. For example, if the measured “Stature” is larger than allowed in the percentile, I get an error message "The Manikin6\Anthropometry\Stature\Length.1 parameter value is out of bounds".

Is it possible to create a universal manikin that has no country, no gender, no percentile? I could imagine that this would solve my problem.

In the video I showed the process for creating the design tab and wanted to demonstrate how to change the values of the manikin. It didn't quite work. But in my own file I can customize the stature of the manikin on the bike in a small range.

Thank you and best regards,

Colin
