I am trying to model bolts in Abaqus and I am unsure which connectors will provide the best representation of a bolt. I have been trying to use a cartesian connector but it doesn't appear to give me a connection, as it doesn't affect the deflection. But it should be making the section composite so the deflection should be less. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
