Recently, the server hosting our SolidWorks CAD licenses experienced a severe hardware failure, leading to the corruption of the hard disk. In our attempts to recover and reinstall the licenses, we encountered a significant obstacle. Unfortunately, the licenses appear to be tied to the now-corrupted hard disk, rendering us unable to reinstall them on a new server.
We have contacted several SolidWorks resellers in Brazil to seek assistance in releasing the licenses, but we faced challenges due to the age of the licenses. Regrettably, there is no available information about the company that originally sold these licenses, complicating the resolution process.
I'm having trouble finding where to seek assistance on this matter since no reseller in Brazil has been able to help me. There is a possibility that the licenses may have been acquired abroad.
