Hello team,

We are involved in an experimental project in an 3D printed specimen where we have successfully obtained the practical results those are satisfying. But now we have to perform FEA in that 3D printed element with different % of infill patterns. I have tried to import sliced stl file to FEA software but that did not work. Like wise I have tried many methods as far as our knowledge but we couldn't get(import) the exactly sliced CAD model into either SIMULIA or ANSYS. Can anyone help me to cross this challenge ? If there are any other platform or community to ask this question please guide me to reach there.
