I recently installed the student version of SolidWorks, and I have noticed that the software has been taking a very long time to load, to the point where it is very difficult to do any design work. I checked the specs of my laptop, and everything should be working fine. Upon looking online, I realized that the problem may be OpenGL, which is greyed out and permanently checked for me. Allegedly it does this when a file is open, but I had no files open at the time. I also attempted again after a brand-new installation (after deleting the program previously) and the option is still greyed out. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how this can be fixed?
