1. Prismatic Joints Not Closing Together
I defined the kinematics of each joint — the fixed part and the prismatic joints — relative to the base, similar to the gripper shown at the end of the video. I set the second prismatic joint with no motion command and reversed its axis direction to be opposite to the other jaw. However, when I try to move both joints, the two jaws don’t close together as expected.
2. Gripper Not Following the Actuator
I connected the gripper to the actuator using the Set Tool function through the mechanical ports. But when I try to move them together, the gripper stays suspended in the air and doesn’t move along with the actuator.
