I am modelling a masonry arch bridge. I have different part of it: the arches, the backfill, the tympani and the deck. The problem is assembling each part in order to study a "single" structure.
I tried to assembly them by using tie constraints only, but i had problems about overcontraints because I don't have "sandwiches surfaces" but more complex surfaces such as the free surfaces of the backfill included in the bridge.
I also tried to use surface-to-surface interaction for back-fill, arches and tympani contact and tie to connect the other part of the bridges, but I am not sure it is correct.
May anyone help me, please?
