I am currently installing the SolidWorks students version 2024. I downloaded the .exe file then unzip it and continue the process. After entering my serial number and hitting next a System Check Warnings appears with 13 warnings. ex of the warning:
"Your serial number does not entitle you to SOLIDWORKS Composer 2024. Verify that the number is correct. If your license is new, you may want to try again later. If you continue, you will still be able to choose the products you want to install, but you will not be able to download any installation files. You will need to provide a complete set of download source files or a DVD from which to install."
Click Back to check the serial number you entered or enter a new serial number. If you continue without a validated serial number, the Installation Manager will not pre-select the products to which you are entitled."
And 12 others.
Now If I neglected this warning and proceed, the SOLIDWORKS Electrical will not connect to the SQL server :
"SOLIDWORKS Electrical is unable to connect to the SQL Server.
Possible reasons for this failure:
- Incorrect username or password
- Incorrect server name
- Server is unavailable
- Communication ports are not open
Please Check the SQL server settings under the SOLIDWORKS Electrical options."
So what should I do to fix all those warnings and the SOLIDWORKS Electrical Problem?
