I just downloaded the 3DExperience Engineer package and I am trying to open Part Design using the link in the browser, but I get the following error on startup:

Connection to Provider PLM1.
Connection to Server failed: .
Connection parameters used to connect to server are wrong or server is unavailable: .
Check the port / rootURI / etc... : .

The application will exit (please contact your administrator).

What is causing this and how can I fix it? Does it have something to do with validating my account? I noticed that in the emails it said that I need to verify my student status, but I could not find an instruction on how to do it anywhere. I could really do with some assistance here, if anyone could help a student out I'd greatly appreciate it!
