A new simulation example entitled “Frequency Analysis of a Fan Propeller” is available with the R2022x FD03 release of the user assistance. This example teaches you how to save a SOLIDWORKS part (shown in the image) to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform and create a frequency simulation using the Linear Structural Validation app.
You begin the example by saving the fan propeller to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform directly from SOLIDWORKS Connected. Next, you create a frequency simulation in Linear Structural Validation to evaluate the natural frequencies and modes of vibration of the propeller. To qualify your design, you verify that the propeller's natural frequencies do not coincide with the rotor's excitation frequencies. Finally, you create a bookmark for the simulation results to share them with your team.
To try this example, see Frequency Analysis of a Fan Propeller.
The 3DEXPERIENCE Simulation Examples team would like to hear your ideas for new examples. If you have a workflow idea with an IP-free 3D XML model (if applicable), please leave a comment so the team can contact you. The team also welcomes feedback on any of its existing simulation examples.
