We are pleased to share with you the R&D Update for Fluids @BD held at the SIMULIA Regional User Meeting EuroMed — Italy​​​​​​​, on June 20 in Modena during the presentation slot "R&D Update, Outlook and Roundtable — Fluids". The same presentation was held previously at the EuroCentral Regional User Meeting in Hanau on May 10, 2023, and is, therefore, as well as a recorded version available.

Abstract:

The comprehensive SIMULIA Fluids portfolio includes both finite volume Navier-Stokes and Lattice Boltzmann solvers, along with plastic injection molding simulation. All Fluids roles are connected to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, which enables MODSIM: the tight integration of modeling and simulation. This presentation will describe the new capabilities delivered in the R2023x Fluids releases, enhancing our industry workflow coverage.

Presenter Biography:

Benjamin DUDA is a Senior Technology Manager in the SIMULIA R&D organization, working within the Product Management team. Before that, Benjamin worked as a CFD application engineer at EXA PowerFLOW, which Dassault Systèmes later acquired, and as a post-doc at NASA Langley on scale-resolving turbulence models. He holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from ISAE Toulouse but conducted his research on jets in cross-flow on-site at Airbus France.
