In my material calibration activities, I tend to use a wide variety of unit-cube models (1x1x1 single element models). However, every so often, I'd like to see whether a multi-element model would behave the same as a single element model. Perhaps even investigating a variety of different mesh sizes and/or mesh geometries (all cuboids). My colleague helped out by supplying this very nice parameterized input file that can be changed easily. The dimension along x, y or z can be changed easily and the mesh density along x, y, or z can be changed easily.
The attached zip file contains two different versions of the cuboid model:
1) parametric_cuboid_5_6_7.inp
This model has equal side lengths of 1x1x1 (cube), and a mesh of 5 x 6 x 7.
2) parametric_cuboid_11_21_31.inp
This model has side lengths of 11 x 21 x 31, with a mesh of 11 x 21 x 31
