With the version 2026 release of CST Studio Suite, we have introduced a design wizard in Filter Designer 3D. This provides a guided workflow and makes advanced filter design even more accessible! 

Another great asset of this workflow is that you can get a populated FD3D project at any point. This reduces the need for training with the UI and makes sure that you still have the complete functionality available -- like adding your own components or working with more advanced topologies.
