New Cloud Compute Experiences in R2022x GA

Dear all,

We're proud to announce the delivery of key enhancements and new cloud computing capabilities as part of the 3DEXPERIENCE Cloud R2022x GA upgrade that occurred this weekend.

This release represents a major stepping stone in the coverage of SIMULIA's portfolio on Cloud as we introduce support for new Power'By solvers and continue to migrate our native simulations to our new cloud computing service:

[NEW] PowerFLOW Power'By Simulations (Simulation Manager) :

 - You can now run PowerFLOW Simulations on 3DEXPERIENCE Cloud from the Simulation Manager app and using SIMULIA Unified License Model. A variety of compute configurations are available for Discretization (128, 256, 512, 715GB of memory) and Simulation (216, 504, 1008 CPU cores). PowerINSIGHT batch jobs can be run automatically upon completion of the simulation.

 - PowerFLOW results can then be post processed remotely using in-browser sessions of PowerVIZ and PowerINSIGHT. Experience Content can be generated interactively to be reviewed on 3DDashboards.

Note some limitations for this first release: Pre-processing (PowerDELTA, PowerCASE) does remain local and requires local installation and client licenses. Also, support for thermal and acoustics workflows will be added in future.

[NEW] XFlow Power'By Simulations (Simulation Manager) :

 - You can now run XFlow Simulations on 3DEXPERIENCE Cloud from the Simulation Manager app and using SIMULIA Unified License Model. A variety of compute configurations are available including CPU (16 to 396 CPU cores) and GPU (16 to 160 GPU streaming-multiprocessors corresponding to ~1/4 to 4 GPUs) configurations.

 - XFlow results can be post processed remotely using in-browser sessions of XFlow

3DEXPERIENCE Flow-driven Generative Design Simulations :

 - Flow-driven generative design simulations now run on our new cloud computing service, benefitting from best in class performance and robustness. Run simulations on 8 cores (embedded) or 16 cores (requiring additional compute licenses) and enjoy improved post processing performance.

3DEXPERIENCE Durability Simulations :

 - Durability simulations now run on our new cloud computing service, allowing a streamlined workflow when running structural and durability analysis on cloud. Benefit from best in class compute and post processing performance when running durability simulations on 8 cores (embedded), 18 or 36 cores (requiring additional compute licenses).

Enjoy these updates and let us know your feedback !
