Meet our SIMULIA Champion Min Jie, a CAE Engineer with Ford Motor Company. Jie’s work includes powertrain durability analysis and writing engineering test procedures, as well as being responsible for the rotor durability of all in-house motors. Before joining Ford, Jie spent two years in teaching and research at the University of Michigan.

“During my career in the industry, I have witnessed the growing capability and widespread application of CAE,” he says. “Since I joined Ford as a CAE Engineer in 2006, high performance computing power has been expanded by about 10 times, so I continue to see improvement in both efficiency and accuracy in my daily job.”
