This two hour eSeminar presented by Dr Syed Murtuza Abbas, provides a brief introduction to the basic concepts of finite element analysis (FEA). The Recording is offered here in three parts.
The main objectives of FEA and the major components of any finite element model are discussed. A general overview of Abaqus is presented followed by a demonstration of performing a linear static analysis of a cantilever beam using Abaqus. Advanced features and capabilities of Abaqus, and its extensive material models are also presented, followed by a demonstration of defining a hyperelastic material model in Abaqus using test data.
What will you learn?
