SIMULIA R&D has improved the Aerodynamics of a Drone example for the R2024x FD03 release in several ways. The example now:
- Uses an updated drone model that has additional elevons
- Provides more background information in the Problem Description
- Includes additional postprocessing of the simulation results
As a result of these changes, this example illustrates a more realistic scenario for an aerodynamic analysis, with additional key performance indicators (KPIs) for analyzing the design's performance.
