Introduction
DOE is an procedure to "understand" cause-and-effect relationships of a certain process, e.g. input to output parameters, and can be applied to a broad spectrum of problems. Here is an example based on an Antenna with our in-house tools Antenna Magus, CST Studio Suite, and Isight. With DOE we can answer questions like: How does the antenna's performance change, if we vary certain width- or length parameters?
Since DOE can be easily applied to other applications too, people with a background other than EMAG are also very much welcome to take a look at it.
