Semiconductor Chip packages are getting more and more complex every day, this complexity brings more challenges in terms of performance, integration and reliability. One of the most common issues is having the ability to convert an ECAD design to an MCAD and then to a CAE model to perform different types of reliability simulations.

This presentation sheds light on the latest SIMULIA solutions in terms of ECAD import, ECAD Translation into MCAD, and Export to CAE. We also discuss different levels of simplification to make subsequent modeling more efficient.
