Design of Experiments as a Way to Efficiently and Effectively Optimize Antennas | e-seminar

In this e-seminar, a dual-band antenna is designed and investigated with a Design of Experiments (DOE) procedure, to find out how geometric changes affect its electrical performance.

This helps to (better) understand the design itself and identify key-parameters, which is an integral step in or before attempting to optimize designs. Along with an interesting workflow based on an actual example, various tools will be introduced, such as Antenna Magus, CST Studio Suite and Isight. As the spectrum of problems that can be approached with DOE is very broad, people with other backgrounds are also very much welcome to attend this e-seminar.

Highlights:

  • A simple way of getting valuable design insights
  • Seamless integration between software tools
  • Workflow can be applied to other applications/industries
