Date: April 21, 2016
This webinar will give an overview of SIMULIA Abaqus Multiphysics capabilities and the state of art Co-Simulation Engine (CSE) will be introduced. Examples will be showcased to demonstrate the advanced capabilities and powerful techniques for seamlessly solving using both Implicit & Explicit solvers and multiphysics such as Fluid-Structural, EM-Thermal-Structural and other interactions. Code coupling algorithms and methodologies will be discussed with practical information on configuring co-simulation models using Abaqus and third party software.
The specialist will become aware of the powerful SIMULIA Abaqus Co-simulation Engine that will enable them to unlock the potential of Abaqus and also interface with other specialist fluid dynamics and EM software among others to accurately capture realistic physics. They will understand certain fundamentals that will enable them to properly setup and use the co-simulation framework.
Showcased are the powerful capabilities of SIMULIA Abaqus to solve realistic simulations that involve multiple physics such as structural, fluid, thermal, electromagnetics etc. Duration of the presentation is around 60 minutes, and specialists who use Abaqus regularly will find the additional knowledge on the state of art capabilities to handle multiphysics useful.
