How to request to be an author
Return to the SIMULIA Community main news feed and select Become an author from the drop-down menu on the right-hand side and give a (short!) reason why you would like to be an author.
Adding headings
You have two options for headings:
| Heading 1Then add your text for this section. |
| Heading 2Then add your text for this section. |
To remove a heading, reset the text to Paragraph |
Headings will show in the Table of contents (top right) and allow you to jump straight to that section.
Adding images
You can either drag and drop an image into your post or use the upload option:
Clicking on your image will then give you different options for:
- resizing
- image placement
- adding a caption
- setting the image as the post thumbnail
- adding a link
Adding tags
There are 2 types of tags: 6WTags, which are in the post, and Community Tags, which are selected at the bottom of your post.
Common 6WTags are listed on this wiki page: 🔍 Find content using tags. As you start to type, frequently-used tags will be suggested to you. After that, you will be shown the 6W options (for the keen, details are in the table below!).
You can choose relevant Community Tags at the bottom of your post. Note that SIMULIA Team is intended for content created by SIMULIA employees.
Creating a draft
If you aren't ready to publish your post, just choose Close to save a draft rather than choosing Publish.
You will then get the option to save a draft:
Drafts can be found in Me > Drafts
