Hello SIMULIA user community!
I am delighted to announce that AMCAD Engineering has joined the SIMULIA brand. This is another step in our brand’s mission to deliver a broad and robust portfolio of multi-physics and multi-scale simulation solutions that enable our users to solve critical engineering problems.
For 20 years, AMCAD ENGINEERING has been at the forefront of addressing our customers’ measurement, modeling, and simulation challenges of RF components and circuits. Initially established as an engineering services company, the team’s expertise in precise modeling based on reliable and unique measurement data has become the cornerstone of a comprehensive software suite for accurately designing and optimizing the performance of microwave circuits. AMCAD Engineering’s software products, including IVCAD, VISION IQSTAR, and Whiteboard, are now part of the SIMULIA brand.
AMCAD Engineering, now a Dassault Systèmes company, will focus solely on its software business. The combined AMCAD Engineering and SIMULIA teams are committed to delivering and supporting comprehensive, end-to-end modeling and simulation solutions to accelerate the development of wireless communication systems for civil, aerospace, and defense applications
As part of the acquisition agreement, the AMCAD “Hardware” business unit, including the Pulse IV System, Automatic Test Equipment, and other hardware solutions, was transferred to AMCAD SAS, a newly established company. AMCAD SAS will remain under the umbrella of the CGD Group, including its sister companies, WUPATEC and ITEST. AMCAD SAS will handle all hardware-related business. Dassault Systèmes and AMCAD SAS have entered into a partnership agreement to ensure current and future compatibility and optimization of their respective software and hardware.
