This plug-in is useful for people who work with orphan meshes. It is quite tricky to create a coupling constraint from orphan meshes due to the lack of intelligent selection options to select nodes in Abaqus/CAE.

In most scenarios we have to deal with rather basic shapes while creating the coupling, like circular holes. This plug-in can create coupling for a set of nodes in a circular path. All you need to do is to select three nodes in a circular path and a coupling would automatically be created at the center of these three nodes. By default it creates Kinematic coupling.This basic version of the plugin is tested to work for nodes that lie in circular paths. The plug-in can be accessed from Interaction module only. Please find below the snapshot of the coupling that is created with the Coupling Creator plug-in.
