The SIMULIA 3DEXPERIENCE examples team developed a new design exploration example on R2022x FD02 called, "Design of Experiments for the Multiphysics Performance of a Bottle"! This example walks you through a workflow that uses the Optimization Process Composer, Results Analytics, Process Experience Studio, and Performance Study apps.
The example teaches you how to create a simulation process to automate the testing of six different water bottle designs using both a structural simulation and a fluid flow simulation. The simulation process contains a design of experiments (DOE) and Visual Basic (VB) macros that vary the geometry of a water bottle design to create the six different designs. After you run the simulation process, you learn how to analyze the designs in the design space by specifying objectives. Then, you create a template based on the simulation process to allow others in your organization to run new processes based on the one you created.
To read or run the example, go to Design of Experiments for the Multiphysics Performance of a Bottle.
A note in the Prerequisites page mentions roles that may be unavailable. You do not need these roles to run this example. This note will be removed in a future release.

The 3DEXPERIENCE Simulation Examples team would like to hear your ideas for new examples. If you have a workflow idea that aligns with our business goals and IPEs, in addition to an IP-free 3D XML model (if applicable), please leave a comment so the team can contact you. The team also welcomes feedback on any of its existing simulation examples.
