What to expect after the update?
The first time you launch SOLIDWORKS Connected after the update, you will be given the option to update to the latest version of SOLIDWORKS Apps or continue using your currently installed version. You will have two weeks (until October 25th) to perform the update. Starting on October 26th, upgrading the 3DEXPERIENCE platform components will be mandatory to continue using SOLIDWORKS Connected.
The 3DEXPERIENCE platform access URL will remain the same.

From the Compass, click on the app context menu to display the currently installed version. A red update icon indicates that an update is required. A green update icon indicates that a supplemental update is available to install at any time. See the Installing Native Apps Using the Compass on the Cloud page of the User Assistance for more information.
