What to expect after the update
To ensure that you can fully benefit from this new version in your daily activity, we encourage you to connect to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform as soon as the update is complete. The 3DEXPERIENCE platform access URL will remain the same.

The first time you launch SOLIDWORKS Connected after the update, you will be prompted to update the 3DEXPERIENCE Launcher followed by SOLIDWORKS Connected. This update is mandatory.**

From the Compass, click on the app context menu to display the currently installed version. An orange download icon indicates that an update is available to install within first two weeks after the platform update. A red download icon indicates that an update is required. A green download icon indicates that a supplemental update is available to install at any time.
