3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS for Makers
To continue working in SOLIDWORKS Design during a platform update, see Working during platform updates. After the update, the first time you launch SOLIDWORKS Design (formerly SOLIDWORKS Connected), you will be prompted to either upgrade to the latest SOLIDWORKS Apps or continue with your current version. You will have two weeks (until June 6th) to perform the update. Starting on June 7th, upgrading the 3DEXPERIENCE platform components will be mandatory to continue using SOLIDWORKS Design.
