Hello,
I have again used the 3D printing capacity of FABLab to fix broken mechanism. This time it was for a window lift mechanism which is not available as spare parts and very difficult to find as used because of low number of produced cars: only about 40.000 smart roadster cars produced between 2003 and 2005.
To access the mechanism, the outer plastic panel needs to be removed. 🙄
The motor pulley and cables were damaged because of the pulley support broke at the cable steath. These spare parts are available but NOT the metal sliders with plastic pulley supports.
