Hello world.

Michael here based in Ireland trying to learn Solidworks 3D Experience , not going well.

I want to convert one of my steam locomotive set of plans from Imperial measurements to metric seeing as metric is the modern mans proper measurement process.

The locomotive is a Simplex based design which is straightforward enough for me to learn Solidworks as an initial design project.

Hopefully in the near future I will be capable of drawing my other locos too.

All 5 inch gauge , Flying Scotsman , US Compound 4-6-0 , 0-6-4 and a Rhodesian Railways GMAM Garrett.

Big projects but loads of fun.
