I'm not going to lie, this was a really tough project.

Nothing too difficult about the design, that was pretty straightforward. It was working on the actual project that was somewhat tough.

In 2020, our Corgi (Ash) was diagnosed with Degenerative Myelopathy.
This is somewhat similar to ALS in people, the body just starts shutting down.
For Ash, it started in his hind legs, and before too long, he was in a wheelchair to help him get around.
He loved playing in the snow, so I designed & 3d printed brackets that would attach skis to his wheelchair.

Ash's story was shared at 3DEXPERIENCE World in 2022 - 

Later that year we had to say goodbye to our furry friend.
I really wanted to create a special urn for his ashes, it was just a matter of deciding what to do, and bringing myself to do it.
This isn't something that I would call 'fancy', but it definitely captures his spirit - 

There are grooves in the top portion that lock into place on a pair of 'rails' on the ski.
